Context of the Collaboration

AG Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen aims to be a progressive and modern educational organization. With more than 7,000 employees spread across 116 schools and academies, it is crucial that HR policy be designed in a strategic and forward-looking manner. The current situation calls for a more integrated approach to talent management. Whereas until now the organization has often relied on manual and fragmented HR processes, there is a need for a centralized system that provides real-time insight into all HR-related data. 

This need has been further reinforced by the changing external environment and internal expectations. Externally, educational institutions are under increasing pressure to respond more flexibly to changing laws and regulations regarding terms of employment and personnel. Internally, there is a growing desire to gain better insight into the development, deployment, and career advancement opportunities of employees, with a special focus on attracting and retaining talent in a tight labor market.

Kickoff and Future Implementation

During the kickoff earlier this week, the foundation was laid for further collaboration. This marks the beginning of a phased implementation of our HR solution. In the coming months, we will work closely with various departments within AG Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen to customize the software. The focus here is on a user-friendly experience for both HR professionals and end users, such as teachers and support staff. We strive to thoroughly involve all stakeholders in the process so that the adoption of the system goes smoothly.

  Full implementation is scheduled to be completed in the coming months, during which we will continuously evaluate and make adjustments as needed. Our shared goal is to have an HR system in place by the end of the project that enables AG Stedelijk Onderwijs Antwerpen to make the most of its talent and remain future-proof in a rapidly changing educational landscape.
